In 2012, the SYPG Foundation was created to provide financial and community outreach support to local organizations that strive for arts excellence. The SYPG Foundation consists of programs such as Mighty Movers, The Smile Co. and Books on Stage. The SYPG Foundation continues to develop their community outreach programs so that dancers learn the importance of community service at a young age.

Our organization has created a gross motor skills program for children with developmental delays called Mighty Movers. We are thrilled to partner with Hope School and The Autism Clinic at Hope, so students of all ages benefit from this program.

The Smile Co. is a special community outreach program that consists of beloved fairy tale princesses and child friendly characters that will visit children in a need of a smile due to a medical condition.  SYPG collaborates with HSHS St. John’s Hospital to regularly visit their Children’s Hospital.

The written and spoken word is an art form and is cultivated for children through Books on Stage.  In a classroom or library setting literary arts blend with the performing arts as the book’s main character comes to life.  The Books on Stage program has been created to targets schools that have been affected with budgetary constraints to their libraries.
